Your garden’s data, plainly.

Your photos and location are used to plan your garden. Nothing else. No advertising, no selling data, no tracking you around the web.

What we collect

• Your town or suburb — so the plan matches your local growing conditions.
• Your garden details — beds, plants, preferences, and which jobs got done, so next week’s briefing starts from what actually happened.
• Bed photos — used to make a plant guess you confirm or remove. Photo thumbnails currently stay on your device.
• Your email address — only if you create an account, used to sign you in (we email a link instead of storing a password) and to send your weekly briefing if you ask for it.

Where it lives

Without an account, your garden lives in your browser on your device. With an account, it syncs to our database so your household can share one plan across phones. People you invite to your patch see the same garden and checklist — that’s the point of the invitation.

What touches AI

Your garden facts — location, beds, plants, recent history — are sent to an AI service to interpret bed photos and to write your weekly briefing. They are used to produce your plan, not to advertise to you.

Analytics

This site uses Plausible, a privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics tool. It tells us how many people visit and which pages they use, without identifying you or following you to other sites.

Your choices

• Use Our Patch without an account — everything stays on your device.
• Sign out at any time — this removes the garden from that device.
• Ask us to delete your account and data: email patch@ourpatch.au.
