Guidance, not a guarantee.
Our Patch gives you a weekly plan for your garden. Gardens are living things in real weather — here’s what we promise, and what we can’t.
What Our Patch is
Our Patch turns reviewed local planting knowledge, your garden’s details and your week-to-week history into a weekly briefing. It is gardening guidance. It is not a diagnosis, a professional horticultural service, or a promise of harvests.
What we ask of you
- Give honest details about your garden — the plan is only as good as what it knows.
- Use your own judgement alongside the briefing. If something in your garden looks wrong, local eyes beat any plan.
- Don’t misuse the service — no attempting to break, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer it, and only invite people to your patch who actually share your garden.
Early version
Our Patch is an early-stage product, opening area by area. Features may change, and occasionally things will break — tell us and we’ll fix them. During this period the product is free to use in early-access areas; if paid plans are introduced, you’ll be told clearly before anything changes for you.
Plant recognition
Photo-based plant identification is a guess you confirm. Confirming or correcting it is part of using the product; we don’t promise the guess will be right.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for garden outcomes — crops that fail, plants lost to frost, weather that ignores the forecast. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Your data and account
How we handle your data is covered by our privacy policy. You can stop using Our Patch at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing patch@ourpatch.au.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll say so plainly on this page and update the date above.
